Cheese Roll

250g cream cheese
250g Coon cheese (grated)
1/2 small onion
125g finely chopped walnuts
1 tspn. worcestershire sauce
paprika to taste
parsley or poppy seeds

Method: Beat cream cheese till smooth. Add grated cheese, onion, worcestershire sauce, walnuts, paprika and a little pepper. Make into rolls and roll either parsley or poppy seeds on outside. Put into glad wrap and then in alfoil. Store in fridge.

Crunch

[Children's Munchies for Parties]

Spread butter and vegemite on dry bread. Sprinkle with grated cheese, poppy or sesame seeds. Cut into fingers. Bake in moderate oven.

Savoury Fingers

Butter bread and spread with one of the following. Cut into fingers and bake in a moderate oven for 10-15 minutes. Serve hot or cold. Store in an airtight container for further use.

* vegemite or promite and grated cheese
* parmesan cheese and garlic salt
* sesame or poppy seeds
* tomato paste/pesto topped with bacon bits and grated cheese

Celery Sticks

5cm (2 inch) lengths of celery
Cottage cheese
Salt and pepper
Poppy seeds
Paprika
Chopped parsley
Grated onion

Method: Fill lengths of celery with cottage cheese which has been seasoned to taste with salt, pepper and grated onion. Sprinkly [sic] with poppy seeds, paprika or chopped parsley. Chill before serving.

Cheese Ball

500 gm grated tasty cheese
250 gm soft cream cheese

Various flavours can be added:
1. Walnut cream cheese cubes, gherkin and grated onion.
2. Crushed pineapple.
3. Devilled ham spread or chicken and corn spread.
4. Smoked salmon spread.

Method: Combine all ingredients. Shape into ball. Roll in sesame seed, poppy seed or paprika powder.
