Christmas Cheer (1)

Combine together:
Juice of 3 lemons
3 Oranges, peeled and chopped
pulp of 6 passion fruit
3 apples, chopped
1 bottle orange cordial
1 x 850g can crushed pineapple

When ready to serve, add:
3 bottles chilled ginger ale
3 bottles chilled soda squash
1 bottle brandy/gin (optional)

Raspberry Champagne Cup

4 lumps sugar
4 teaspoons Brandy
4 tablespoons frozen Raspberries, thawed
1 tablespoon lime cordial
Well Chilled Champagne

Method: Place a sugar lump & 1 teaspoon Brandy in each Champagne flute.

Puree raspberries & lime cordial together, pour some into each glass. Top up with Champagne & serve at once.

Tomato Jam - Raspberry Jam

6 lb ripe tomatoes
5 lb sugar
1 tin raspberry jam
1 bottle raspberry cordial - Bobo

Method: Chop tomatoes and boil 1/2 hour. Add sugar and boil 3/4 hour. Stand 5 mins. Add jam and cordial and stir well. Bottle while still hot.

Cherry Ripe Balls

2 cups Bran Buds
1 tin condensed milk
2 cups coconut
6 oz Copha
4 oz chopped cherries
2 tabspn Bo Bo raspberry cordial extract

Method: Mix dry ingredients, add condensed milk and melted Copha. Shape into balls, let set and dip in melted chocolate. Makes approx. 6 doz.

Tropical Cocktail

1 oz pineapple cordial, 1 oz gin. Fill glasses with lemonade. Dash green lime. Decorate with sherry and lemon or orange slices.

Lemon Drink from Pure Lemons

6 pts. of pure lemon juice
8 lb. sugar
1/2 oz. citric acid
1 gramme sodium benzoate
1/2 bottle Fauldings lemon essence

Method: Make up cold - dilute when using.

Happy New Year: Poppa's Punch

2 litres of fruit cup cordial
2 litres of orange cordial
4 litres of lemonade
4 litres of ginger ale
4 litre cask of St Tropez wine cooler
6 bottles of cheap champagne
1 bottle of sweet sherry
lots of chopped mint
lots of cucumber skin
banana slices, strawberries, etc.
1 bottle of gin (optional)

Method: if too sweet add more ginger ale or riesling. If not sweet enough add moselle.
