Ginger Pie

1&1/2 pkts. ginger biscuits
1/4 lb. melted butter

Method: Mix together and line buttered pie plate with mixture.

Filling:
2 teacups water
6 tbspns. golden syrup
3 tbspns. custard powder
3 oz. chopped ginger

Method: Put all the above ingredients into a saucepan. Stir until it thickens - when cold add chopped ginger. Top with whipped cream.
